Honesty

As the title of this chapter says, 'Honesty is the best policy', this is a proverb created by Edwin Sandys (an English politician) and I can say that it is a really important value because it simplifies our lives and makes us feel free in every aspect of life that we can imagine.

In chapter number two we can appreciate how honesty is really important in universities those days because students should learn how to do their own work without plagiarizing information from other authors (almost always taking that information from internet).

This is a really big preoccupation nowadays on teachers because they cannot prevent that their students take all the information from Internet even if they try really hard to do it.

It's important to say that some students lamentably do not attempt to be authentic on their works but on the other side, others never plagiarize their works, those students know what is really important for their future and they are never going to make an erosion of the truth between them and their teachers.

Unir 1  The internet and others addictions Justt like Bill, i think there are lots of people having this kind of addictions. I can tell You My own experience because i' ve been there before, i know how it feels not to use the internet when you were used to. The sintoms could be almost the same as when you are depressed. You feel sad, alone, you don't want to eat, etc.  I asked some people what do they feel when they don't have data or internet and these were dime answerss: Rubí: I feel bored, i never know what to do.  Nairobi: I don't feel sad. The Internet and the other addiction

The internet addiction.       Fist of all, for me the internet is a new technology that has impacted the world and provided many benefits of its users. At the same time internet has had a negative impacts, some people are becoming preoccupied with the internet, are incapable to control their use. The internet has becoming a incontrolable addiction it can damage your family, work and you relationship. Some people think that internet addiction it isn’t real but for me it’s,  I often see how the families are destroyed due to this addiction because the husband is passing hours seeing pornography or the wife chat-room lovers,  also, people are loosing their life savings on gambling web sites online. In my opinion we needs to be careful in how we use the internet and for, because believe or not the internet can be a headache in your life or a benefit; it going to depend  on how you use and manage  it.

Unit 6 - Spiritual Renewal All around the world we can find many people that practice different ritual. We have different religions and each person go to their favorite or just the one they feel comfortable with. In this unit, called “spiritual renewal” we analyzed  the different rituals that some people practice. The one that call my attention the most was “fasting” which is a practice made in different religions. Fasting is when someone decided to stop eating for a specific time with a purpose. Most of the reasons are spirituals. I think this is a beautiful practice that people decide to do. I have never done it but it I could I would. I really like the spiritual practice, it just get ourselves more relax, and algo help us to get closer to God. I think everybody should have their own spiritual practice  in order to get closer to each of us. It is amazing when many people from an specific church get together to create an spiritual environment.
