Unit 1: The internet and Other Addictions
The internet addiction has been becoming into one of most crucial deseases of the time, as far as technology is concerned. Everybody knows that the internet came to better our life, but we are out of control with it. People spend too much time online doing nonsense things and that is a big problem. I’m of the ones who say that if you use the internet to increase your knowledge is alright, but when you do nothing with it, you are just wasting your time. However, I have to say that some people use the internet to get the stress out by watching things on the social media, and that is not a bad idea. So , I also have to admit that we are in “the digital age” and because of that internet addiction is such as common thing. This addition can be reflected in different ways, like for example, some people are compulsive shoppers, when they don’t have internet they feel sad and depressive and others even feel anxious when they are using it. In conclusion, one of the best ways to combat this addiction is taking therapy and even going to the psychologist.
