Unit 2. Honesty is the best policy

Honesty


In unit 2 we told about honesty. This unit explains what is honesty, why is important to be honest, why people lie, and what is the price we have to pay if we are not honest.

Well, we can define honesty as the act, quality, or condition the tell the truth without lying. 
The psychiatrist, Dr. Paul Ekman, says that lie is the deliberate choise to mislead another person. He  give us some reasons why people lie. Some of them are:
1. To avoid punishment.
2. To get a reward.
3. To protect another person to be punished.
4. To protect yourself from the threat.
5. To get power over other person.

People lie in different ways, like: conceal informations, fulsify informations and tell the truth in a mocking fashion.
 In my opinion we have to be honest every time, because when you are honest other people can trust you and that makes you feel good about yourself, because you know you are not hiding anything.

Unir 1  The internet and others addictions Justt like Bill, i think there are lots of people having this kind of addictions. I can tell You My own experience because i' ve been there before, i know how it feels not to use the internet when you were used to. The sintoms could be almost the same as when you are depressed. The Internet and the other addiction

The internet addiction.       Fist of all, for me the internet is a new technology that has impacted the world and provided many benefits of its users. At the same time internet has had a negative impacts, some people are becoming preoccupied with the internet, are incapable to control their use. The internet has becoming a incontrolable addiction it can damage your family, work and you relationship. Some people think that internet addiction it isn’t real but for me it’s,  I often see how the families are destroyed due to this addiction because the husband is passing hours seeing pornography or the wife chat-room lovers,  also, people are loosing their life savings on gambling web sites online. In my opinion we needs to be careful in how we use the internet and for, because believe or not the internet can be a headache in your life or a benefit; it going to depend  on how you use and manage  it.

Unit 6 - Spiritual Renewal All around the world we can find many people that practice different ritual. We have different religions and each person go to their favorite or just the one they feel comfortable with. In this unit, called “spiritual renewal” we analyzed  the different rituals that some people practice. The one that call my attention the most was “fasting” which is a practice made in different religions. Fasting is when someone decided to stop eating for a specific time with a purpose. Most of the reasons are spirituals. I think this is a beautiful practice that people decide to do. I have never done it but it I could I would. I really like the spiritual practice, it just get ourselves more relax, and algo help us to get closer to God. I think everybody should have their own spiritual practice  in order to get closer to each of us. It is amazing when many people from an specific church get together to create an spiritual environment.
